Shariah Scholar (AVP/AVP)
Experience Required
- At least 4 years of experience issuing Shariah rulings, including Takhasus fil Ifta.
- OR at least 5 years post-qualification experience in research, teaching, or Islamic banking and finance.
- Strong understanding of Islamic jurisprudence, Fiqh ul Muamalat, and Shariah rulings.
Qualification
- Shahaadat al Alamiyyah (Dars-e-Nizami) from a recognized institution + Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (not from Madrasa Degree).
OR - Post Graduate Degree in Islamic Shariah (e.g., LLM Shariah or Kuliyaat Usooluddin) from a recognized university.
Job Responsibilities
- Review products, proposals, contracts, and manuals from a Shariah compliance perspective.
- Conduct Shariah research under the guidance of the State Bank Shariah Board.
- Issue Shariah rulings and review all bank products.
- Prepare responses to SBP Shariah queries.
- Ensure compliance with SBP Shariah directives and internal instructions.
- Any additional task assigned by senior management.
Shariah Product & Policy Management (AVP/AVP)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Shariah-compliant banking products.
- Review operational policies to ensure Shariah compliance.

Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years in any public or financial sector organization.
- Preference will be given to candidates experienced in public procurement (PPRA), contracting, EPADS, and tendering.
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from HEC-recognized university (National/International).
- PPRA certification preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of goods and services.
- Manage tendering, contracts, RFQ/RFP preparation, negotiation, vendor evaluation, etc.
- Ensure compliance with PPRA regulations.

Experience Required
